Year 5- Mathletics Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS Year 5- you wiped out all other competition in the school and came first!

You will now hold the Mathletics trophy until Maths Week next year.

A special mention and well done to Ahmed who spent A LOT of time on Mathletics this week helping us get points for our class (and of course improving his own maths).

Aleena's Bridge

Today we got to witness a bridge designed and made by Aleena, hold 5kg of weight before breaking! If you think back to engineering day the success criteria we were aiming to meet was a bridge holding 6kg and one which could span 30cm. 

A fantastic job Aleena- I'm really impressed that you took and applied the skills you learnt at school and recreated your own design at home.
